I am a retired attorney living in Augusta, Georgia. For over 30 years, photography has been both a passion as a hobby and a creative outlet—an evolving journey shaped by curiosity, learning, and exploration, and quite a few failures! What began as a hobby gradually deepened into a lifelong pursuit of landscape, street, and architectural photography.
I’ve had the privilege of attending many workshops over the years, each one sharpening my eye, refining my technique, and expanding my understanding of visual storytelling. These immersive learning experiences, combined with extensive travel, have allowed me to explore diverse landscapes, cultures, and perspectives through the lens.
My work is less about documenting and more about sensing—responding to light, shadow, form, and mood. Whether I'm photographing a remote landscape or an everyday scene, I aim to convey a sense of presence and emotion—inviting the viewer not just to see, but to feel.
While I do not photograph professionally, I approach my photography with intention, sensitivity, and a fondness for the medium. Photography continues to be an evolving dialogue between the world and myself, and I'm always learning—chasing not perfection, but connection.
